About the Event
Experience a holistic retreat designed to nourish your mind, body, and spirit. Through breathwork, yoga, meditation, sound, and nature, each element is thoughtfully woven together to guide you toward inner stillness, balance, and personal growth.
Your retreat home will be Aldermarsh Retreat Center, a serene five-acre woodland space dedicated to community, collaboration, and sustainability. Here, amidst the whispering trees and soft earth, you’ll find the perfect setting to slow down and reconnect.
Breathwork
The breath is the bridge between mind and body, the rhythm that steadies us in life’s currents. Guided breathwork sessions will help you access deeper states of awareness, release tension, and cultivate a profound sense of presence. Through intentional breathing techniques, you’ll unlock new pathways to clarity, emotional resilience, and inner calm.
Yoga
Move with intention, finding strength, flexibility, and inner peace through guided yoga. All levels are welcome as we explore alignment-based practices, incorporating blocks and straps for deeper support. Expect mindful movement, longer holds, posture breakdowns, and a focus on breath—an invitation to truly inhabit your body and discover your own inner wilderness.
Meditation
Nestled in the serenity of the surrounding wilderness, meditation sessions will offer space to quiet the mind and deepen your connection with the present moment. With each breath, settle into stillness and experience the profound benefits of mindfulness.
Reflection
This retreat is also a time for pause. Self-reflection, journaling, and meaningful conversations will create opportunities to process, explore, and integrate your experience. A customized journal will be provided to support your journey inward.
Nature Therapy
Through guided nature therapy walks—also known as forest bathing or Shinrin-yoku—you’ll attune yourself to the natural world with all your senses. As you walk mindfully through the forest, stress fades, clarity emerges, and a deep sense of belonging takes root.
Sound Bath
Let the healing vibrations of sound wash over you, dissolving tension and inviting deep relaxation. With the skilled guidance of Amy Irwin, this immersive experience will use resonant tones to balance energy, reduce stress, and create a profound sense of tranquility.
Step into a space where breath, movement, stillness, and sound come together—where nature guides, and you simply listen.
