Hike on PCT for old-growth forest, gorgeous wildflowers, stunning views, and famed Katwalk! It is a long hike with some steep and exposed and snowy sections. Microspikes and poles are must. Capool is available from Issaquah Highlands Park and Ride at 5:15 am.

Distance and elevation: 12 miles and 2650 feet
Rating and route: moderate-strenous out-and-back
Parking pass/fee: Northwest Forest Pass or America the Beautiful Pass
Gear: sturdy shoes, yoga mat, water, snacks/lunch and 10 essentials, microspikes and poles.
