
WOMEN'S MINDFULNESS RETREAT
Dive deep into mindfulness practices, cultivate inner peace, and embrace the beauty of being present. Nurture your mind, body, and spirit, and emerge with a renewed sense of clarity, purpose, and resilience.

You'll participate in guided breathwork, mindfulness meditations, yoga, nature walks, journaling, silent introspection, and creative expressions activities.

You will learn practical techniques to develop a deeper awareness of your thoughts, feelings, and surroundings. No prior experience of meditation or yoga is required. Retreats are open to all women above 18 years.
Winter retreat will be held in a charming retreat center, a 100-year-old dairy barn converted into a retreat center. Sprawling 50-acer property is situated along Day Creek in the Skagit River Valley, about 90-minutes north of Seattle. It has 9 bedrooms, 5.5 baths, a cozy living area with wood-burning stove, and a deck with sweeping views.

You’ll enjoy homemade, nutritious vegetarian meals prepared with as many local and organic ingredients possible. Meals include dinner on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, breakfast on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, lunch on Friday and Saturday; and assorted teas and snacks. All meals are prepared to maintain and nourish your body to support the meditation practice on retreat.

We will accommodate your dietary restrictions, such as vegan, gluten-free, and lactose free. Please contact us before booking if you have life-threatening allergies.
Retreat will be facilitated by Sarvinder Kaur. She is a certified Yoga and Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, and has been practicing yoga and meditation for over a decade. She learned and deepened her mindfulness practice through several teachers and 10-day Vipassana Meditation.

Through observing the positive impact of mindfulness and yoga on her own life, she became inspired to share with others skills to cultivate inner calm, kindness, and compassion to ride the ebbs and flows of life. Sarvinder believes in the power of nature to enhance the practice of mindfulness and blends mindfulness and nature together in her retreats, creating a unique and transformative experience for her participants.
She is a seasoned hiker, backpacker, mountaineer and King County Research and Rescue volunteer.


Nature therapy invites participants to immerse themselves in the serene beauty of the season. Nature becomes the teacher as you encounter the beauty and magical strangeness within its creative cycle of emergence, decay, and renewal. Experience the healing power of nature as Helen Lowe guides you to a contemplative mindful winter walk to attune to the subtle rhythms of the natural world.
Helen Lowe is a lifelong student in the art of being and, since 2003, has supported others to expand and deepen their own creative engagement with life. Using a variety of artful methods and encounters with nature, she supports individuals, couples, and teams are to embody and strengthen the felt sense of belonging.
Healing Soundscape is a unique experience to explore the profound connection between music and mindfulness. Stephen Podry and Helen Lowe create a serene sanctuary where you will come together to create a powerful collective sound, using various musical instruments. As the group synchronize their rhythms and tones, you will engage in a beautiful form of self-expression while fostering a profound sense of unity and connection. It's a truly enchanting way to find tranquility and presence through the shared language of music.
Stephen Podry has facilitated arts-based experiences for over 20 years, including 14 years directing arts-based parenting and personal development programs for incarcerated mothers. A musician, writer, and practitioner of shamanic arts, he offers a wide range of creative modalities for deepening the experience of being alive, including imaginal practices for relating with nature. Stephen is formally trained in literature, counseling, Expressive Arts therapy, and informally trained in the jungles of Peru and his own psyche.
